Time flies when you are having fun approach to after school learning.
I am a highly experienced 11+ tutor and qualified Primary School Teacher, with over ten years of key stage leader and classroom teaching experience. I have taught numerous small group 11+ lessons, mock exams, and revision sessions as well as one-to-one sessions at 11+ level – both online and in person. I have been successful in aiding a growing number of students gain entry to reputable Kent Grammar Schools and have also consistently produced exceptional KS1 results as a classroom teacher in schools.
Choosing to only teach a small number of children my strength lies in planning and teaching personalised, imaginative, and creative lessons, which keep students engaged and, most importantly, make learning clear and easy to understand. I am currently available to offer all these skills and services online and have a flexible timetable allowing me to teach short sessions before school when required.
I have been given outstanding by Ofsted when teaching in a school. As a qualified teacher I have experience of teaching in the classroom. I believe that as an experienced qualified teacher I can bring the best out of your child as I have experience in lesson planning, subject and curriculum knowledge as well as being able to adapt the tutoring to your child’s learning style. Please make sure that you check the qualifications of anyone you are paying to educate your child. Over my years of experience, I have begun to understand the pressures that children and their parents are under with anxiety and depression increasing. I aim to nurture the children by developing a positive mindset for learning as I feel that this is a significant characteristic in children developing as learners. My small groups create a family atmosphere and I believe in community, loyalty and trust. Your child will learn, make rapid progress as well as have fun.
